Chapter 2 Basement: levers and three puzzles

Direct answer
Current HUD captures separate Pull all the Levers from Solve Puzzles 0/3. The three visible puzzle methods are colored-object counting, rotating square tiles to match a circular reference, and finding a four-digit paper for the keypad. The exact key pickup and escape route are not preserved in the current evidence.

Before you start: what the HUD tracks

HUD objectiveWhat current evidence provesEvidence gap
Find the Key in the HaystackA separate objective line existsNo continuous key-exposure and pickup sequence
Pull all the LeversA separate lever route completes independentlyPermanent count and every close-up pull are not established
Solve Puzzles 0/3Three puzzle-counter items are requiredThe game does not provide canonical names in the capture
Escape the basementThe official badge describes the key-and-escape endpointDoor, lock and route actions are not captured continuously
Three puzzles, plus leversSome creators call the lever task a fourth puzzle. The game HUD counts three puzzles and lists levers separately, so this guide follows the on-screen objectives.

The evidence begins inside the Basement. It does not establish a Chapter 2 unlock requirement or exact entry route, so this page does not copy those claims from conflicting competitor walkthroughs.

Observed three-landmark lever route

  1. Check behind the SELL board

The first observed route cue points behind the visible SELL board.

  2. Check beside the Drone

The second observed landmark is next to the Drone.

  3. Turn toward the rear corner

The third cue is the corner behind the player’s initial facing direction in the captured run.

  4. Use the HUD as the result

Confirm that Pull all the Levers shows its completed state. The first and third interactions are not both preserved as close-up continuous pulls, so use the landmarks and objective result rather than an asserted permanent count.

Solve the three puzzle methods

The numbers below organize this guide; they are not proof of a guaranteed room or puzzle order.

Puzzle familyWhere to lookWhat to changeWhat varies
Colored countsColored gems or rocks above the pedestalsPress each same-color pedestal until its number matches the countThe totals can differ by run
Rotating pictureSquare tile board and circular reference image to the rightRotate the square tiles until the board matches the referenceNo fixed click sequence is established
Paper and keypadInteractable papers on the floor, then the wall keypadFind the four-digit numeric page and enter that run’s digitsCaptured pages showed 1629 and 8886

Colored-object counting

Look above the colored pedestals and count the pieces belonging to each color. Press the pedestal of that same color until its displayed number equals the count. Recount the current room rather than copying totals from a video.

Rotating picture board

Use the circular image displayed to the right as the reference. Rotate the square tiles until the board matches that reference. Working from distinctive outer features toward the middle can reduce rechecking, but that is an editorial solving tactic rather than a captured rule.

Paper and keypad

Interact with floor papers until the four-digit numeric page appears, then enter that value at the wall keypad. One run showed 1629 and another showed 8886, which is direct evidence that neither number is a universal answer.

What is known about the key and escape

The official badge description says You found the key and escaped the basement! One completed run ends on TO BE CONTINUED... (CHAPTER 3) and displays +120 Gems and +350 Alien Coins. Those rewards belong to one demonstrated run and are not established as fixed.

The current claim packs do not preserve how the hay obstruction opens, where the key becomes visible, the pickup input, the door/lock interaction or the exact exit route. Broad phrases such as “follow the newly available route” would hide that evidence gap, so this guide leaves the final procedure unresolved.

Basement FAQ

Are there three puzzles or four?

The HUD counts three puzzles and lists Pull all the Levers as a separate objective.

Is 1629 or 8886 the keypad code?

Neither is universal. They are values from two different captured runs; find the numeric paper in your own run.

Are the color numbers fixed?

No fixed totals are established. Count the colored pieces shown in the current room.

What do I match in the picture puzzle?

Rotate the square tile board until it matches the circular reference image displayed to the right.

Are +120 Gems and +350 Alien Coins guaranteed?

No. They appear on one captured completion screen, without evidence that the reward is fixed across versions or player states.

Why the Fuse and Vault walkthrough is excluded

One ranking page describes a Fuse Room, Switch Hall, pipe network and five fixed Vault needle spawns. Those mechanics conflict with the two current captured walkthroughs, while the official badge describes a key-and-escape ending. This page uses the HUD and captured puzzle operations instead.

Evidence: official Chapter 2 place 83445806734780 and badge 2294452590898433; objective and puzzle claims DBXmnxcywbs-C01–C05 and Z1QCPbON1F4-C01–C06. Key/exit procedure remains an explicit evidence gap.
